With just a few weeks until Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando, Gentle Giant has sent out a quick news update with the latest details on their Celebration VI exclusives, a giveaway for a Cantina Playset for their Jumbo Star Wars figures, news on their Deluxe Red Skull bust and their Holiday Jar Jar Binks bust.
On the Star Wars tip are their two Star Wars Celebration VI exclusives, the Jumbo vintage Lando Calrissian. Priced at $75, this 12″ figures showcases Lando in all his Besbin suaveness. The other Celebration VI exclusive is a Clone Lieutenant statue featuring blue markings on the helmet and torso. This $200 statue is highly detailed and based on the original Lucasfilm reference material.
This year’s holiday bust, is a little extra special this year as its a 2-pack of Jar Jar Binks and W. Wald. Jar Jar comes decked out in a Santa hat tangled up in christmas lights, both of which are removeable making this a year round piece. The holiday bust set is available now for pre-order for just $119.99.
And, if you caught the pics from SDCC, one of my personal favorite pieces (of many!) from the Gentle Giant booth was the Jumbo Vintage Star Wars Cantina playset. Finally, on the Marvel front, comes Captain America’s nemesis – the Red Skull. Gentle Giant’s deluxe Red Skull Bust, priced at $70, stands just over 7″ tall and is amazingly detailed including the Red Skulls’ military medals and hand gun. Via interchangeable hands, he can be displayed either with a closed fist or holding the Cosmic Cube. This is a gorgeous art piece which you can see in the gallery below.
