Via the Hollywood Reporter, Hasbro today announced that two classic toylines were included among their slate of SDCC exclusives – Micronauts and Visionaries.
The Micronauts Classic Collection set features new takes on figures from the classic Mego toyline. These characters being revisited are Galactic Warrior, Pharoid and Orbital Defender. As with the original toys, each figure sports multiple points of articulation and interchangeable parts.
Visionaries is also making a return at SDCC with the release of a Mighty Mugg of the character Leoric. Based on the Mighty Mugg buck, this figure does include the Visionaries trademark holographic chest plate, with Leoric’s being a roaring lion.
Both of these items will debut at Comic-Con, with a limited number also being available online at HasbroToyShop.com after the show and. The Micronauts set should also be available at Fan Expo Canada (held Sept. 1-4 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center).
