In addition to my duties running AwesomeToyBlog, I have a “real job” as an engineer at a high tech company…so when I saw the press release from Silicon Valley Comic Con (SVCC), announcing a pair of panels that bring together some of today’s most powerful social media stars and trailblazing engineers – I couldn’t help but post it.
The first of these inspirational sessions features pop culture figures “MayBaby,” “Brizzy Voices,” “Alx James,” and “Mamrie Hart” discussing the road to becoming web sensations and how to build a brand beyond digital platforms. The second session brings together engineers, scientists and developers from Adobe, Intel, Pinterest, Riot Games and local organization, Black Girls CODE and will delve into how they are paving the way for the future of technology and entertainment and encouraging the advancement of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education.
