With tickets now available, the theatrical release of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ will be here in no time. The other week Hasbro dropped the details on the Marvel Legends figures supporting the film, but Hasbro’s plans for the movie go well beyond Legends and include some cool items for fans of all ages.
In the basic action figure space there are 2 scales of figures set for release, 4″ scale Epic Hero figures and 12″ Titan Hero figures. The Epic Hero figures include Mantis, Star-Lord, Drax, and Groot. Each figure includes character appropriate accessories. These (and the Titan figures) will be available April 10th at stores everywhere).
For the 12″ Titan Heros assortment look for Adam Warlock, Star-Lord and the ‘Blast ‘N Battle’ Groot.
Of course if you noticed those above assortments were missing everyone’s favorite talking raccoon, fear not as Rocket has two toys of his own on the way. The “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 Galactic Spaceship and Rocket Figure” include 2.25″ inch Rocket and a 2-in-1 spaceship for him to pilot on adventures through the galaxy. The “Outrageous Rocket” action figure is an 8″ scale figure with an action feature where you squeeze his legs and he lifts his blaster out of it’s holster ready to protect himself and his fellow Guardians.
To round out this summary – it wouldn’t be a major movie without some role play toys and Guardians is offering up a pair of toys to bring the action home. The talking role play Groot mask continues the popular line of Hasbro releases. This mask lets the wearer say 15 verions of “I Am Groot”. Aspiring Star-Lords will be drawn to the Nerf Star-Lord Quad Blaster. Blast your enemies and be sad about your ex-girlfriend at the same time!
