Today the Hasbro Transformers team popped on to the Hasbro Pulse Youtube channel for a livestream and showed a ton of new products.
As part of the Transformers Legacy line, a capsule collection was announced for Walmart. The Velocitron Speedia 500 collection is inspired by the Transformers comic story but features Generations-style design. Each of these will be available fore pre-order in July at Walmart. Characters in this collection include:
- Blurr (Deluxe Class, $24.99)
- Burn Out (Deluxe Class, $24.99)
- Cosmos (Deluxe Class, $24.99)
- G2 Road Rocket (Deluxe Class, $24.99)
- Diaclone Clampdown (Deluxe Class, $24.99)
- Road Hauler (Voyager Class, $33.99)
- Cybertron Universe Override (Voyager Class, $33.99)
- Robots in Disguise Scourge (Leader Class, $55.99)
Also announced today was the return of the Transformers x Top Gun mash-up, Maverick. Take the iconic Grumman F-14 Tomcat jet from plane mode to robot mode and bring your Top Gun dreams to life. Maverick will be available for pre-order in July from Walmart.
The last group of products in today’s live stream are new entries in the R.E.D. line, Hasbro’s Transformers action figure lines. They may not transform, but they bring you a new way to enjoy your favorite Transformers characters. The new characters announced today include Prime Megatron, Prime Optimus Prime, and Thundercracker. All three will be available for pre-order this July from Walmart.
