New Star Trek: Discovery Ships Join Hero Collector’s Star Trek: Universe Starships Collection

Hero Collector’s galaxy of ships boldly grows with the upcoming launch of three new ships from Star Trek: Discovery – the U.S.S. Discovery-A (Refit), Section 31 Deimos-Class and Cleveland Booker’s ship – just in time for the show’s fourth season debut. These spacefaring vessels join the larger Star Trek: Universe collection, which previously showcased a run of starships from Season 1 of Star Trek: Picard. Each ship comes with a magazine that includes a detailed profile of the ship, as well as behind-the-scenes information about its creation, complete with original sketches and artist/designer interviews.

The new trio of ships to join the collection are:

U.S.S Discovery-A (Refit): The U.S.S. Discovery NCC-1031 underwent an extensive refit at Federation headquarters following the ship’s sudden and violent arrival in the 32 nd century. It was upgraded with futuristic technology and recommissioned as the U.S.S. Discovery NCC-1031-A.

Section 31 Deimos-Class: The covert ops organization Section 31 secretly developed and deployed a number of stealth ships, with the Deimos-Class serving as mothership. It’s actually based on a Federation design for a smaller intel science destroyer and was extended to a length of nearly 900 meters. The Deimos also boasts swarms of autonomous drone-fighters stored in the saucer “wings” on either side of its central spine.

Booker Cleveland’s Ship: Cleveland Booker’s small scout ship is equipped with a cloaking device, subspace communications system, and several faster-than-light propulsion systems. Most impressively, the ship’s “morph” capability enables it to reassemble into different configurations…even mid-flight.

The ships in Hero Collector’s Star Trek: Universe Collection are as screen-accurate as possible, with ViacomCBS overseeing every phase of production, and are all made of die-cast metal and high-quality resin, before carefully being painted by hand. Furthermore, these new starships –which span all the latest live-action entries in the franchise, from Star Trek: Picard to Star Trek:Discovery to the upcoming Star Trek: Strange New Worlds — are produced at the same scale as the former Star Trek: Discovery Collection to maintain collection compatibility, and come with a
base and a stand for easy display.
