Funko was kind enough to send over some the second wave of DC Primal Age and for fans of the first wave – these figures serve a perfect second helping of what you already liked. This wave includes the Flash, Superman, Bizarro, Lex Luthor and Black Manta. The ‘beast’ of this wave is Krypto the Superdog.
I’m not going to do a detailed review of the figures – as everything I said for wave 1 still applies. The sculpts are true to the 5.5″ format and the paint apps are spot-on. Just a couple of comments – it is a rough wave for hands with Superman, Bizarro and Lex Luthor all missing one hand (replaced with a mace) and the Bizarro / Superman combo in the wave is a winning one.
On to the pictures….first up we have everyone in their package. The backer card is shared across all the figures and it features a cross-sell of everyone in the wave. And I forgot to take a picture of the back.
Freed from their package you can see the figures with their accessories (swords for Black Manta, shields for Bizarro and Superman and a knife for the Flash).
