Star Trek fans who beamed into Las Vegas earlier this month for the 2017 Official Star Trek Convention were among the first to wrap their hands around the largest starships ever produced by Eaglemoss Collections, as the first three Official Star Trek Starships XL Editions left their docking bays.
Created in response to fan demand, each ship is approximately twice as large as the starships featured in Eaglemoss’ more than 100-vessel strong Official Star Trek Starships Collection. Offering the ultimate in detail and craftsmanship, every XL Edition has gone through extensive reference study and has been reproduced under the supervision of Star Trek expert Ben Robinson to ensure pinpoint accuracy.
The first XL Edition is the beloved U.S.S. Enterprise NC-1701-D, coinciding with the 30th anniversary
celebration of the airing of the first episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Up next is the iconic
U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 from Star Trek: The Original Series. The third starship offered is the
Sovereign-class U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E, featured prominently in the first three movies to
showcase the Star Trek: TNG cast.
Under license by CBS Consumer Products, each ship is die-cast, hand-painted and comes with a special collector’s stand, along with an in-depth magazine featuring meticulously researched info and artwork highlighting the ship’s history, design and on-board technology, along with its crew and weapons.
The XL Editions are available exclusively from Eaglemoss Collections either by subscription or as
single purchases (www.st-starshipsxl.com). Subscribers can start their collection with the mega-sized,
8.5 inch long U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D for just $59.95 with FREE shipping.
