The launch of Activision’s newest entry in the Skylander franchise, Skylanders SuperChargers, is set for September 20th. As that date quickly approaches, Activision and Toys “R” Us have announced special plans for the game’s launch.
Skylanders fans in New York can head to the Time Square Toys “R” Us on Saturday, Sept. 19 and Sunday, Sept. 20 from 12 – 5 p.m. ET to play the game and receive a free Hot Streak Skylanders SuperChargers vehicle while supplies last. Starting midnight on Sunday, Sept. 20, 140 Toys“R”Us locations will be open for fans to purchase the game and all Toys“R”Us stores nationwide will be open at 8 a.m.3 (complete list of stores available on Toysrus.com/toyevents).
