G.I. Joe: Retaliation pushed to March 29, 2013

Paramount released the word today, that to allow time to  convert the film to 3D, they are pushing the release of G.I. Joe: Retaliation to March 29th, 2013. Fan response on twitter has not been understandably negative – the movie had relatively good word of mouth based on trailers and has had a pretty high amount of visibility on social media – meaning they get to start over again next year. What will happen with the pending release of the toys (found a movie Cobra Commander last night at Walmart) as well as any follow-on releases is unknown. Stay tuned for more.
