Last month when all the Doctor Who classics images leaked, there was an in-package image of the first Doctor + TARDIS set. While there is no US distribution announcement as of yet (heavily rumored to be sold at SDCC) a preorder has been posted for Forbidden Planet. In addition there’s a clear picture – the figure is a reissue of the ‘Unearthly Child’ first Doctor. The TARDIS is a redeco of the 7th Doctor TARDIS featuring the St. John’s badge and some weathering details. The set is retailing for the same as the other TARDIS boxsets have (~$50).
