Darth Sidious (Hologram)

Comments: This holographic Darth Sidious is part of the most recent wave of the Star Wars Legacy collection. This wave commemorates the 10th anniversary of the release of “The Phantom Menace”. Advertised with this wave is the mail-in offer for Qui Gon Jinn and Eopie.

This isn’t the first time Hasbro has released a holographic Darth Sidious, but this release is unique with the inclusion of the movie accurate mechano-projector thing.  But even a walking mechano-projector can’t save this figure.  It sucks!  The holographic Sidious is just a chunk of plastic.  The chair has a few joints, but doesn’t stand very well when the holographic Sith Lord is placed on it.   In fact – the build a droid part that is included with the figure has more paint apps and is better articulated than this figure…and arguably more fun.   I bought this because I’m a fan of things Palpatine – but this was a stretch.  After I opened it, I was left wondering – ‘Really?  That’s it?’.  This is one for the hardcore only.
