The Jazwares booth at toy fair is best described as very diverse. They have a wide range of licensed entertainment properties in several different product categories. In the electronics category they had on display their latest Star Wars, Power Rangers, and wrestling goods. One of my favorite items was the Darth Vader CD player where Darth’s helmet flips open for the CD.
Toy lines were on display for their continuing Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and Sonic the Hedgehog lines. The new Mortal Kombat figures looked particularly great. Also of note, the Adventure Time line, based on the Cartoon Network series of the same name, will be expanding to all retailers after intially being a Toys R Us exclusive. Finally, Jazwares announced that there would be a new line based on the hugely clever game Scribblenauts.
