With Force Friday mostly behind us, let’s take a look at the new BIG FIGS offerings from JAKKS. With three size classes, 20″, 31″ and 42″ – there’s the perfect figure (and price) for every kid and collector.
In the 20″ scale, most figure sport 5-7 points of articulation, and include signature accessory/weapon and real fabric capes. Our initial line up of figures from the new film includes: Kylo Ren, First Order Stormtrooper, Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma. Also look for additional Classic Star Wars characters including Jedi Luke Skywalker, Greedo, Stormtroopers, an all new Sandtrooper and for the first time a single release of the Classic Tuskin Raider.
In their 31″ scale, with an SRP of $34.99, are two new Episode VII figures: Kylo Ren and the First Order Stormtrooper. From the Classic movies are a 31″ scale Yoda (he’s 20″) with his lightsaber and removable robe and two versions of a 31″ scale R2-D2. The standard version features a rotating dome and articulated legs.($49.99 SRP) and a deluxe version which features 13 different cycles of lights, authentic movie sounds (beeps and whistles), and automated movement in his legs. The Deluxe R2-D2 has an SRP of $69.99.
Finally at the 48″ scale, which have an SRP of $99.99 and include an interactive motion detection feature. There are two figures available in this scale, a Darth Vader and an Episode VII New Order Stormtrooper.
