The Power Rangers are having quite a Thanksgiving this year. Their Red Ranger balloon will debut in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and yesterday the Super Megaforce Rangers stopped by the New York Common Pantry for a special event. There the Rangers visited with children, lead them in some “Train Like a Ranger” exercises and distributed turkeys to families to cook and enjoy on Thanksgiving Day.
In addition to their visit with the kids, the Power Rangers made a donation that will enable the New York Common Pantry to prepare 6,172 Choice Pantry meals for families in need; provide hundreds of people with access to case management services and help sustain an organization that strives to treat low-income and homeless New Yorkers with dignity and respect.
