Toy Fair 2023 – The Noble Collection

One of my goals for each Toy Fair that I attend is to get exposure to new companies and brands that I’m not familiar with. This year I had the opportunity to speak with Julian Montoya at the Noble Collection and get a run down of some of the upcoming products they are excited about. The Nobel Collection, if you aren’t familiar is an official licensed creator of movie merchandise, specializing in finely crafted treasures, movie props and collectibles. Each of their products is executed to the highest of standards with considerations well beyond just the appearance of the items, as an example, effort is spent to make sure the items feel right in the hand.

At the show a few product lines really stood out. For starters they have bendy figs unlike and I’ve seen before, where the attention and primary goal is an accurate looking figure. With characters from Spongebob Squarepants, Minions, Shreky and horror icons – these are amazing in how well they capture the essence of their characters.

Making it’s debut at the show is a line of Minecraft items – but these are next level in scuplt and detail. Balancing a real world look, but still maintaining a pixelated aesthetic, these replicas of in game items are impressive in person. The torch features a flickering LED mimicking flame and the potion bottle changes colors with a touch. These are easily the best looking Minecraft items I’ve seen in ages.

Harry Potter replicas, particularly the wands from the series are a huge hit for Noble Collection. Making it’s debut in the line is Gilderoy Lockhart’s wand – the biggest wand yet, matching his boisterous personality. And making a reappearance in the line is Dolores Umbridge’s wand featuring a delicate gem in it’s middle.

And finally, one last product worthy of a call out – a Star Trek Tri-Dimensional Chess Set – so good this piece was used as the basis for the set in Pike’s Enterprise in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
