Build Your Own ELEANOR 1967 Mustang Model With FanHome

The Eleanor Mustang Build-Up Model is ready to burn rubber again. Fans of the partwork model, which was initially available via Eaglemoss/Hero Collector, can now complete or start assembling the car thanks to Fanhome. The 1:8 scale die-cast metal Eleanor model was inspired by the 1967 Mustang featured in the 2000 film Gone in 60 Seconds, which starred Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie. Collectors will receive monthly shipments of parts that build into an incredibly detailed die-cast model. Each component of the easy-to-build Eleanor model comes pre-painted and will screw (screwdriver included!) or click together – thereby eliminating the need for any messy paint or glue – to form the 23-inch-long vehicle.

Among the highlights of screen-accurate Eleanor build-up model: working lights at the front and rear of the car; engine and horn sounds; a “Go, baby, go” gearshift booster; trunk, doors, and hood that open and close; and front wheels that turn using the car’s steering wheel. The first package subscribers receive includes two assembly stages and a magazine, while each package thereafter will include four assembly stages and a magazine. The magazines dig deep into the 1967 Eleanor Mustang, from her design and history to her pivotal role in the Gone in 60 Seconds films, as well as a look into how cars came to be given female names. Subscribers also receive the following gifts throughout their subscription: an Eleanor license plate, a heated travel mug, an Eleanor magazine binder, and an Eleanor poster.

“Mustang aficionados and moviegoers alike have loved the Eleanor for parts of seven decades, a truly remarkable span of time that reveals just how timeless the car is,” Nuño Pasqual del Pobil, Chief Digital Marketing & Communication Officer of Fanhome, said in a statement. “The team at Fanhome are happy that collectors can now continue building their Eleanor models, or join in on the fun as first-timers.”
