Funimation revealed additional panels and events programmed for FunimationCon on July 3-4. Today FunimationCon 2020 unveiled panels for Attack on Titan, Listeners, and Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, featuring English voice actors from each series for lively discussions and Q&A. Funimation is excited to announce it has teamed with Aniplex of America to livestream Aniplex Online Fest on July 4 as part of its programming track. All day long, fans at FunimationCon can easily enjoy Aniplex Online Fest, through FunimationCon.
FunimationCon is hosting its first-ever live My Hero One’s Justice 2 Esports challenge. The event, hosted by professional wrestler Kenny Omega, pits My Hero Academia voice actors against each other as they recreate fight scenes from BANDAI NAMCO’s My Hero One’s Justice 2 video game.
FunimationCon 2020 is available for free to fans in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. We sit down with the voices behind some of your favorite characters and relive the biggest moments from the first three seasons. This panel features voice actors Bryce Papenbrook (Eren), Trina Nishimura (Mikasa), Josh Grelle (Armin), J Michael Tatum (Erwin), Bryn Apprill (Christa), and Mike McFarland (ADR Director) and is moderated by Funimation’s Josellie Rios. - Listeners – Explore the world of Listeners with the English voice actors and the ADR director as they discuss the series and rock music! Also exclusive Q&A with Dai Sato, the co-creator and head writer, answering questions from Funimation fans of Listeners. - Toilet-bound Hanako-kun – Pursue the paranormal! STREAM ANIPLEX ONLINE FEST LIVE ON JULY 4
Funimation has teamed up with Aniplex of America to make the July 4 Aniplex Online Fest livestream available for fans attending FunimationCon. All day long, the Aniplex Online Fest programming will be available for FunimationCon fans to access and enjoy as a programming track for the virtual festival. Aniplex Online Fest will feature a diverse array of online content, including talk shows with the staff and cast from popular anime, special appearances and past live shows from music artists, and behind-the-scenes stories from the anime industry.
