Penny Dreadful is a critically acclaimed Showtime Original Series created by John Logan. Some of literature’s most famously terrifying characters – including Dr. Frankenstein and his creature, Dorian Gray, and iconic figures from the novel Dracula – become embroiled in Victorian London. The series weaves together these classic horror origin stories as the characters grapple with their monstrous alienation. John Logan created the idea of the language the witches speak and called “Verbis Diablo”. It is described as “The Devil’s Tongue” and is a mixture of Aramaic, Greek, and Latin.
You can pre-order the journal today for delivery after SDCC from Entertainment Earth for $59.99 and is limited to 804 pieces.
