While walking around the Toy Fair floor I passed the Wicked Cool Toys booth and told them that I can’t go to Toys R Us and not play with their cat paw toy. They handed me one and asked if I’d like to see their other product lines and I said yes. I’m glad I stopped to pay that compliment as I saw some really fun product during my tour.
Of the things that I’d consider more traditional “girl” toys there were two product lines that really stood out. The first is their plans to introduce a kid friendly cookie oven….that makes Girl Scout cookies. That’s right, you’ll be able to make your own Thin Mints and Trefoils once these ovens and mixes hit the market. Wicked Cool Toys is also the home of Cabbage Patch Kids and they have HUGE plans for the brand. If you’re a fan of these iconic dolls, you’ll want to keep your eyes on what’s coming.
In the more traditional “boys” toys, Wicked Cool Toys has plans to continue their Jumbo wrestling figure line, introducing Hulk Hogan and The Rock into the line. Other wrestling toys on tap include two fantastic wrestling ring playsets – these were huge. Also on tap is a new line of collectible vinyl minifigures – Crashlings. In each package some of the Crashlings are hidden inside a rubber meteor that, when opened up, serves as a popper.
And in the realm of toys that anyone would love, their cat paws will be continuing and they’re looking to extend the line to include dino claws.
Check the gallery below for all these cool products and a few others including some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toys, their all wooden furniture line, and Wild Kratts toys.
