With New York Comic Con now just days away, Diamond Select Toys has published a summary of all their Con goings on. For starters, DST will present two panels at the show. The first, “Diamond Select Toys: The Best of All Worlds,” will take place on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 5:00 in Room 1A18. DST president Chuck Terceira and sculptor Eli Livingston will talk about upcoming products, give away some prizes, and announce a new toy line. Then, on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 4:15 in Room 1A24, Minimates product manager Robert Yee and designer Uriel Caton will join Chuck for “Minimates MiniFigures: From Marvel to Clerks to TMNT!” There, they will discuss upcoming Minimates releases, give away some more prizes, and unveil the next Marvel Minimates assortment! A signing with Minimates designer Uriel Caton as the DST booth (#1736) will bookend this panel on Saturday.
The Diamond Select Toys booth is also the location for their Build-A-Minimate station, where your can build your own creation with any Minimate purchase of $18 or more. You’ll be at their booth anyways, as each morning they’ll be giving out a free promotional Ghostbusters minimate, while supplies last. These are limited and will go quick, so be sure to stop at booth #1736 and check everything out.
