This was…unexpected to say the least. At SDCC 2013, the corner of the exhibit hall where Super 7 and Funko were located was the hot corner. On preview night, you couldn’t even get close to either booth. These two companies are teaming up on Super 7’s hit ReAction Figures. In case you missed it (which is impossible) the ReAction Figures are new figures of ‘lost’ Aliens figures in their original Kenner style. The Funko / Super 7 partnership kicks off with the debut of the Aliens figures and will continue for several yet to be announced licenses. Given how ‘fan oriented’ both these companies are, this is the perfect collaboration for them. I cannot wait to see (and review!) the outcomes of this partnership. Stay tuned for more!
