STARZ sent out a press release today announcing an exclusive screening of the first episode of their pirate drama “Black Sails” at Comic-con. “Black Sails” centers on the tales of the feared Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) and his men as they fight for the survival of New Providence Island, a notorious criminal haven. Flint’s crew grows by one as he takes on a young addition to his crew, John Silver. This special screening will take place on Thursday and will feature several, yet to be announced special guests. “Black Sails” will air on the STARZ network in January, 2014.
