At Tomy’s Toy Fair booth, my attention was immediately grabbed by their Battroborg display. The easiest way I can describe it is to take Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots and combine them with Wii boxing. The result are boxing robots that respond to two hand-held controls – another result is fun. I had the chance to try these out and had a blast!
Another focus was their Hypercity trains, which will now include a converting feature where the trains will automatically take a second form as it makes it’s way down the track. On display was a train that changed into a T-Rex and a second that turned into a scorpion.
Pokemon was another huge focus area with a wide range of product on display from their small 2″ PVC figures to huge plush items. I’m no Pokexpert, so I’ll let the photos do the talking!
Tomy’s R/C product was also on display, with Mario Kart and Batman vehicles on display. While the Mario Kart vehicles looked fun, the mini-R/C Batmobiles looked awesome. Check all this product out in the gallery below.
