Shout! Factory is releasing the final season of G.I. Joe: A Real American Heroes with the 2nd season of the 2nd series of the show due out on DVD July 10th. When G. I. Joe first hit the airways in 1985 the show was produced by Sunbow and ran through 1987. Two years later, DiC picked up the reigns and continued the show; this is considered series 2. It ran for two seasons and this release wraps up classic Joe animation.
This 3 DVD set contains all 20 episode and includes bonus content Classic TV animation fans rejoice! On July 10, 2012, Shout! Factory, in collaboration with Hasbro, will release the G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero Series 2, Season 2 on DVD.
