One of the items in my gift bag from JAKKS Pacific was a 3-pack of S.L.U.G. Zombies – that’s Scary Little Ugly Guys. These 2″ figures are similar to M.U.S.C.L.E. figures from the 80s, or even the recent O.M.F.G. minifigures. At a glance these seem like very basic little figures – but there’s a ton of detail sculpted into these figures. I’m not sure I’d want to buy these as painted figures; but I do hope some talented customizers have a go with these – I’m sure the right color scheme could make the details really pop.

While the Zombies are great (I’ll need to track down the cheerleader – Rigamortis Lourdes); I’m excited to find out future themes for the line. These are fun little figures and I’m hoping they’re a big hit.
