Taking a page from their Masters of the Universe playbook, Mattel has announced a Ghostbusters subscription plan, “Club Ecto-1”. A Club Ecto-1 membership costs $20 and guarantees that you’ll receive all six of the 6” Ghostbusters figures released during the year. You also receive a club-exclusive figure (to be announced July 23rd at our Mattypalooza Fan Panel). As with Club Eternia, Club Ecto-1 does not include any special convention items, reissues, stands, or other accessories.
The club membership enrollment period opens 7/21 at 4 p.m. PT through 8/4 at 4 p.m. PT here on MattyCollector.com. They can also be purchased at the Mattel booth located at San Diego Comic-Con during the convention.
