Today I spent the afternoon at Phoenix Comicon, and had a great time. The show was markedly busier than yesterday, but that’s to be expected on a Saturday. I mostly avoided the exhibition hall, as I think I’ve bought everything I wanted; instead I wandered around taking some photos and sat in a few panels. The big media guests for the day were James Marsters (Spike from Buffy) and the Star Trek: the Next Generation reunion panel with Wil Wheaton, Levar Burton and Jonathan Frakes. I sat in both panels and was thoroughly entertained, the crowd was definitely happy with the guests and the guests seemed to be enjoying themselves as well.
So far, I’m having a great time at Phoenix Comicon and looking forward to tomorrow. The big panel will be Stan Lee; interested to hear what he has to say.
