Super 7 Booth Images – Thundercats and Silverhawks

Super7 already made some huge waves among collectors with the new additions to their Ultimates line of toys—The Cat’s Lair and new, toy-accurate decos for their Silverhawks line.

Partly (Vac) Metal, Partly Real

Super7 have certainly heard the cries from fans that they want Silverhawks figures that look more like the toys (as opposed to the already-released cartoon-inspired figures) and have been working on these for a long time. We get Buzz-Saw and Mon*Star in new decos meant to look more like their vintage toy counterparts. But the most exciting thing for Silverhawks fans is the introduction of vac-metalized, highly-articulated figures, something that was thought to be impossible. YouTuber Pixel Dan had an impromptu chat with Brian Flynn from Super7 Wednesday night where he gave a little indication of how they’ve done it. More details are to come.

The Cat’s Meow Lair

Of course, the item that is really blowing people’s minds is the absolutely gigantic Cat’s Lair. At 36.7 inches tall and 29.3 inches wide (before you unfold it) you might need to factor in the cost of a home remodel into your budget as well as the $650 (plus $100 shipping) the Cat’s Lair will cost. However, the playset is stunning, with a ton of accessories, and show-accurate details. Full information can be found on Super7’s page. The pre-order is up now, in a Kickstarter-like format. It needs a minimum of 3000 backers to fund.

In-Progress

Super7 were also showing off the in-progress waves in their various stages of completion.
