The second batch of DKE Toys SDCC exclusives has been revealed with three new additions.
Yoclops by Little Lazies – $55
This is one of the most special exclusives DKE has ever had. Each piece has been hand sculpted by Leah Lester of Little Lazies.
No two are exactly the same but they are so close to one another that it’s kind of hard to imagine that they aren’t cast and she made 50 of them!!!
They are signed and numbered on the bottom of the figure and carded in a package she designed and are only $55.
Bio: Little Lazies are weird, little, clay creatures made by Leah Lester, a monster maker living in Seattle, WA. How did it all start? Leah was a full time cake decorator who very much enjoyed sculpting out of edible paste for the cakes she created. One sunny day in June 2010 she said to herself, “I want to make a monster for the top of this cake!” So she did just that… Soon after, her friends started encouraging her to create these characters into clay; something that they could keep for a lifetime. So with that, Leah bought some clay and with lots of practice, experimenting, character developing and imagination her monsters evolved into what they are today – the Little Lazies! DKE Toys have announced their final two SDCC exclusives over the holiday weekend. These two release are:
Attackers of the Missing Stuff S.U.C.K.L.E. figure – $30 / Edition size of 100
One of the Sucklord’s early figures is what we commonly refer to as the Pink Toht figure from Raiders. It was inspired by a Marvel Raiders comic where Toht was colored Pink. The purpose of the S.U.C.K.L.E. line is to recreate all of the Sucklord’s work in the M.U.S.C.L.E. format. The problem is that if we made this figure in China in the regular colors and all the exclusives then it’s just a colored Toht figure. It really only works if it’s pink. So this release had to be in resin only. Limited to 100 and $30 but you also get a “flesh” version with it. Bagged with header card. Sculpted by George Gaspar.
Django Uncloned “Bobotype Edition” by Good For You Toys – $60 / Edition size of 30
Check them out below!
DKE Toys continues to announce exclusives as SDCC quickly approaches. The latest two exclusives are LUCKY by Mike Egan, priced at $100 with an edition size of 20 and Bad MOOD by Broke1 x AWOL ONE with an edition size of 20 and priced at $65.
DKE Toys sent details over on their latest SDCC announcement – Bad Acid by MannyX. With an edition size of 20, this figure is $55.
Hand cast and hand painted by MannyX and his new brand Iconoclast Toys. There are lots of variations in the color so we are pretty sure this is a multiple color resin pour. This is a follow up to his Black Bart figure. Bootleg Bart has hundreds and hundreds of posts on IG each with a unique bootleg Bart Simpsons shirt. The card back is based on the original 80s Mattel Simpsons line. Figure is to scale as well at about 3.5 inches.
DKE Toys continues to announce their products they are offering at SDCC. Today’s announcement is the hand cast and painted 3 3/4″ carded figure ‘Return of the Tar-Martian’. Limited to an edition size of 15, this figure is priced at $85.
