Hasbro and Kabam Introduce TRANSFORMERS: Forged To Fight Mobile Game

The game will feature authentic Transformers “more than meets the eye” action, allowing players to engage with Optimus Prime, Megatron and many other popular Autobots and Decepticons in a stunning 3D environment. The new title will enter beta testing in select territories soon and will be available worldwide in Spring 2017.

TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight will give players access to nearly every era of the franchise’s history, challenging gamers to assemble the ultimate team of Transformers characters, including Autobots and Decepticons from the animated TV series, blockbuster films, as well as fan-favorites from the Transformers comic book series and Hasbro’s line of iconic figures. As fans assemble their team, they will forge alliances, battle other players and dive into a unique storyline that goes beyond good versus evil.

In TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight, explore an epic new universe where multiple realities collide to form a massive planetary battlefield. Players will assemble a team of Autobots and Decepticons from across time and space to fight against a world of corrupted Transformers and their villainous overlords. The game features amazing visuals, intense one-on-one battles, meaningful robot to vehicle converting action and deep RPG elements. Transformers such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream and Grimlock will level up over time, unleashing powerful new abilities and devastating robot-vehicle attacks.

Trailer Released for Skylanders Academy, Coming to Netflix October 28th

Crash Bandicoot Celebrates 20 Year Anniversary with Skylanders Imaginators

skylanders imaginators logoCrash Bandicoot is turning 20 and he’s set to return to video game consoles everywhere in the upcoming Skylanders Imaginators.

The 90s hero and his arch-nemesis Dr. Neo Cortex will join the Skylanders Imaginators lineup of Sensei characters as fully-playable toys. Announced last month, the game will feature a Crash level, Thumpin’ Wampa Islands,which pays homage to the original Crash and includes the classic TNT boxes, crabs, hazards, temple ruins, Wumpa Fruit, exploding fruit and more. The level will be available on the PS3 and PS4 starter packs at launch and will be released in a special Adventure Pack for all platforms later this year.

When the machine goes awry, something occurs that throws the whole party out of sync. Crash (voiced by Jess Harnell) must team up with the Skylanders and his old enemy Neo Cortex to restore the celebration before the Wumpa Islands are syncopated right out of existence!

Call of Duty Returns to SDCC With Panel and Mondo Poster Giveaway

Call of Duty® is returning to Comic-Con! On July 21st, Activision and Infinity Ward, along with Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller will take fans behind-the scenes of the rich narrative in Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare.  The 60-minute panel will debut never-before-seen footage from the game’s all-new story and unpack the creative process of crafting the campaign.  Members of the studio and cast will share new details and provide a glimpse into the ‘making-of’ the unforgettable journey players will undertake when Infinite Warfare launches worldwide this November 4th.

Activision brings Skylanders Academy to Netflix – Fall 2016

skylanders contestActivision Blizzard, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced that “Skylanders Academy,” the first production by Activision Blizzard Studios—its newly-created television and film studio—will premiere in Fall 2016 on Netflix, the world’s leading internet television network.

“Over the last five years, millions of families around the world have welcomed Skylanders® characters into their homes. The series follows the heroic adventures of the Skylanders team, a group of heroes with unique elemental skills and personalities who travel the vast Skylands universe, protecting it from evil-doers and showing the next wave of Academy cadets how to do things the “Skylander way.” Created by Toys For Bob, the $3 billion Skylanders franchise has sold through more than 250 million toys since pioneering the toys-to-life category in 2011, and earlier this month Activision revealed Skylanders Imaginators,™ the latest innovation in the franchise.

Produced under the supervision of showrunner Eric Rogers (“Futurama”), “Skylanders Academy” features the voices of Justin Long (“Alvin and the Chipmunks,” “Ask Me Anything”) as Spyro, Ashley Tisdale (“Phineas and Ferb,” “High School Musical”) as Stealth Elf, Jonathan Banks (“Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul”) as Eruptor and Norm MacDonald (“Saturday Night Live”) as Glumshanks.
