One of the announced exclusives for SDCC is a new 5-piece Voltron box set. The Hyper-Phase Legendary Lion set includes all five fully articulated lions with new designs and unique projectile launchers and includes a unique speeder and pilot. The Blue, Red, Green and Yellow Lions come with distinct weapons like the Blue Lion’s Hydro Cannon and the Red Lion’s Magma Disc launcher and the Black Lion features lights, phrases and sounds from the show. Combining the 5 lions to form a 16″ fully articulated Voltron also unlocks over 50 sounds. You can see pics of all the lions and Voltron at the end of this post.
The Hyper-Phase Legendary Lion set is priced at $129.99 and will be available from ThinkGeek/Gamestop (Booth 3349), Toynk Toys (Booth 815/4437), Entertainment Earth (Booth 2343) and Trendsetters/Sure Thing Toys (Booth 4730). Entertainment Earth is offering a pre-order which will ship from available stock after the show for non-attendees.
