There’s a good bit of talk going around about a 2015 relaunch of the G. I. Joe, and Joe fans do have some reason to be hopeful. Based on a personal facebook status from yesterday, a member of the Transformers team has transitioned over to “help re-imagine and re-launch the G. I. Joe brand”.
Concurrently there’s a rumor that that G. I. Joe is going to go the 6″ route, a la Star Wars Black series with a launch at SDCC of a Snake Eyes and Timber set.
I’d expect that we’ll need to wait for Toy Fair for anything official from Hasbro on Joe’s future, but at least there’s folks working on it. What would you want for a re-launched Joe line…leave a comment with your thoughts.
