Battle Beasts are making a return to this year’s Comic-con. Following the launch last year of the first series of Battle Beast Minimates, this year will be previewing series 2. In addition to some series 2 prototypes being on display, Diamond Select Toys will be giving away a new promotional Battle Beast. This years figure is a variant of Merk, the falcon who is 1/3 of the band of Beast heroes. Shadow Merk, is cast in clear purple plastic and will be given out each morning at the Diamond Select Toy booth – #2607.
Also be sure to attend the Minimates panel, Saturday at 1:30 in Room 8. I’ve attended the past two years and you get some really fantastic previews of what’s to come.
