Hasbro today, via USA Today, revealed several of their 2013 SDCC exclusives which join the previously announced Star Wars Black Series 6″ Boba Fett with Han Solo in Carbonite and the vintage box set Star Wars Angry Birds. The exclusives announced today are:
My Little Pony
From the first season of Friendship is Magic, DJ Pon-3 ($49.99) features a musical note “cutie mark” and Swarovski crystal elements. The packaging includes special lighting effects.
Jem
Following last year’s reintroduction of Jem, 2013 sees another high-end collectible figure from Hasbro and Integrity Toys. The “Glitter N’ Gold” Jem doll ($140) is an homage to an original Jem doll and features more details, a more realistic sculpt than last year’s figure and also includes an extra dress and a record trophy.
Marvel Legends
The Marvel Legends toy line will be well represented at SDCC with a box set of the Thunderbolts (Judith Chambers. Ghost, Crossbones, Luke Cage and Moonstone) available at the show. This $89.99 set of 6-figures features several characters which are first being represented in the Legends line.
G. I. Joe / Transformers
Following on the success of the 2011 and 2012 G. I. Joe / Transformers crossover sets, this series returns for a third and final entry. This years set is larger than the previous two years and features a Skystriker with a Jetfire deco, a G. I. Joe V.A.M.P. with a Hound deco, and figures of the Baroness with Ravage, Snake Eyes, Blaster in Boom-box mode with cassettes and a Joe-sized samurai Bludgeon. This set is priced at $99.99.
