This morning I woke to the news that Forbidden Planet had announced a new entry in the Doctor Who Classics line, a box set based on the 4th Doctor classic episode ‘Pyramids of Mars’. This is one of my favorite 4th Doctor episodes, so I’m thrilled to see Sutekh in toy form! This set includes a jackel headed Sutekh (he’ll likely be released in a different set masked) and 2 guardian Mummies, featuring gold wrappings that will differentiate them from the previously released Mummies. These have an October release date listed for the UK, any US release details have not yet been announced.
