After redefining the term “free” as “$6.99” we have some evidence of continued english redefining as, according to our friends at Entertainment Earth, the “July 1st” debut of Masterpiece Grimlock will be at the Entertainment Earth booth at SDCC. You can see the EE announcement of their events here, and note the $70 price tag for Grimlock. This is $10 more than the item was listed for on ToysRUs.com when it briefly appeared there, hope the $60 price remains for the in-store availability.
Grimlock’s appearance at SDCC does fit with earlier rumors which had Toys R Us having a booth at the show. While it is not a dedicated booth, Toys R Us will have some presence at the show and will likely offer some SDCC exclusives on their site after the fact, as it did last year.
Keep your eyes peeled later this month or August for Grimlock to appear on shelves at your local Toys R Us.
