Takara-Tomy Reveals Unicron Repaint

In Japan, Transformers: the movie (the animated one) occurs in the year 2010 and to celebrate the fact that it is actually 2010, Takara-Tomy are releasing some special products in commemoration.  Previously we had shown you the dead version (gray) of Masterpiece Optimus Prime.  Now they have released images of their updated Unicron.  Unicron sports a remolded head – the Mini-con “M” is no longer present and a movie-inspired paint scheme.  This figure is an e-hobby exclusive in Japan, but several US retailers have posted preorders for this figure.  Prices range from about $110 and up.
